Lorne Bruce is a father of two and is passionate about building communities that work for people. He is standing with Jagmeet Singh, and the NDP team, to help build a fairer, more hopeful future for everyday Canadians.
Lorne is a labour organizer and works hard to make life better for working people and their families. He sits on the executive board of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 175/633 and a former executive board member of the Waterloo Regional Labour Council.
Lorne is a also a community activist who has spent much of his career in the non-profit sector, working with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and several environmental organizations.
He is a strong advocate for bold climate action that leads to a robust, sustainable economy and that creates well-paid green jobs.
As your Kitchener South-Hespeler MP, he will fight for meaningful action on the issues that matter most to people here: creating employment opportunities, making it easier for people to retire comfortably, developing a sustainable economy, and addressing the crisis of affordability by building more affordable housing.
