Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
During my lifetime, so far, I have gotten tired of seeing the same issues never being addressed with action. Seeing those that are suppose to do "the right thing" falling into depths of "pretty words" and giving people sugar coated versions of perceived gains. Best Reason to Run.

Your vote is your voice! As stated this is a very important position/job, it requires honesty, tenacity and dedication to doing the best for the members of the constituency. Not everyone will get exactly what they want, but willing to do everything possible to get what everyone needs. Such as, Proper representation (Proportional), Education reform (I am willing to listen and learn how to help), addressing homelessness (housing crisis), Healthcare (need to be stronger to help those in need), and these are just the surface of issues that need positive action to resolution.

Leaving a legacy of Skills, good living, and a chance to preserve a planet for the Next 7 generations is the key to humanity. Please do not get me wrong, yes Money is important, but then again monitoring where and how that money (your tax dollars) should be used is of greater concern. Ensuring that 6 core principles of the Saskatchewan Green party combined with the Seven Sacred Teaching of the First People of Turtle Island always remain at the core of every policy is my personal goal.

I can not in all honesty make "grandiose" promises, that change will happen over night, but with enough small changes, the bigger ones will happen.

Our core values are on our website www.saskgreens.ca and this allows for full transparency.

The reason for running with the Saskatchewan Green Party as my banner has lot to do with the fact that of their organizational format, it remind me a lot of a Co-Operative. One member one vote, concept also knowns as "Participatory Democracy" you want change then you need to be involved, so here I am, doing the best possible. The other aspect is there is no large corporate donations going to our Party to influence you, we are totally funded by you, the voters, so your voice is yours, and we are here for you. True service to the voice of the future.

Just one more reason, to vote for any Saskatchewan Green Party Candidate, and that part is what has transpired since the Saskatchewan Green Party has opened a table for guidance from the Sovereign Indigenous People Advisory Council. They have redone their policy book, have put action to empowering the Treaty, and the original Governance of the First people, and are working toward a better relationship of equality. With this guidance and building on the foundation that Mother Earth is a Living Entity, as per the policy that was adopted and passed unanimously it is a wonderful journey we can all embark on for the future.

Voting for any Green candidate will help bring real change without any "perception of change" because we Do Politics Differently.

Chi Migwich/Thank You/Merci looking forward to working with everyone
