When my kids were young, election season rolled around, and my husband and I asked them to decide who THEY would vote for.
... After all, the policies we put in place now will affect our children the most.
Since I'm here, you can probably guess what those kids decided was the most important to them: To have a world to grow up in; to raise their own children in. To be able to afford to go to school and pay rent and live. To have full control over their own health and wellbeing, and to have access to basic necessities like family doctors.
And you know what?
Those kids were right. That's why I'm here.
