Shannon Horner is your NDP candidate for Haldimand-Norfolk.

A life-long resident of southern Ontario, she now calls the small lakeside town of Port Dover home.

Shannon grew up working in agriculture before working at the steel mill in Nanticoke. She has been a steelworker for 27 years, and has been involved in the labour movement for decades. She has advocated for Employment Insurance reform and pension protection for retirees.

Shannon believes that the people of Haldimand-Norfolk deserve a representative that shares their lived experiences. As your MP she will make sure that workers are protected from the worst impacts of Trump’s tariffs with robust EI and retaliatory tariffs that go the people most affected.
