Chris Neudorf was born in Mississauga, and grew up in other communities in south-western Ontario, but he credits the enjoyable summers his family spent in Bruce-Grey as the reason he settled in Owen Sound.
While earning his Bachelors of History and Education degrees at Brock University, his summer jobs brought him back to this area as a camp counselor at the Bruce County Museum and for summer camp programming with the Owen Sound branch of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, working with special needs children.
Chris is currently living in Owen Sound and has been working for the last eight years as a high school teacher with the Bluewater District School Board. Since 2023 he has also been involved with the Hanover Community Players as both an actor and as a volunteer summer camp counselor.
While teaching in both Bruce and Grey Counties, he has met students from diverse backgrounds and has enjoyed learning about the culture and history of the region. He is passionate about history and politics. Chris believes that a society can only be judged by the kindness and dignity with which it treats its most vulnerable.
