Biography
The BC Greens are thrilled to announce Adam Hawk as their candidate for Vancouver-South Granville.
Adam Hawk is a committed advocate for sustainable communities and safe transportation. A passionate bike safety advocate, he has spearheaded efforts to make eco-friendly, accessible transportation a reality for all, regardless of age or ability. His petition promoting cycling safety has garnered over 3,000 signatures, earning an endorsement from the City of Vancouver’s Transportation Committee. This demonstrates his ability to drive grassroots change on critical issues like transportation safety.
Born in Montréal to immigrant parents, Adam learned the importance of hard work and community service early in life. Now residing in Southeast False Creek, he has built a successful career in the organic and sustainable food industry. His commitment to healthy living and fair-trade practices aligns with his broader vision for a society that values environmental stewardship over profit.
Adam’s political experience spans two provinces, having previously run with the Green Party of Canada and Parti Vert du Québec. Fluent in four languages, he is well-equipped to connect with Vancouver-South Granville’s diverse communities. Adam understands that achieving a sustainable future requires a holistic approach to issues such as housing affordability, transportation, healthcare, and reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
As a BC Green candidate, Adam Hawk is dedicated to fostering positive change and ensuring that Vancouver-South Granville thrives as a model of sustainability, equity, and community.
